My name is Henok Girma, but my friends call me Henny.

Working between London and Addis Ababa has shaped how I see the world and how I shoot it. My work sits mainly in food, drink and hospitality, but the common thread is always story over spectacle. Whether I’m photographing a bottle, a dish, a room or the people inside it, I’m interested in the details that make something feel lived in rather than staged.
